Stores Person - Stroud

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (Includes, but not limited to the following):

  • Generating appropriate documentation for all material movements
  • Checking job paperwork for accuracy
  • Handling all delivery paperwork and file accordingly
  • Material stock located accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communication of shortages and stock discrepancies to relevant departments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Location management of new / existing products
  • Organising inventory so it is easily accessible and identified
  • Ensuring an efficient, tidy, clean and safe working environment in the stores
  • Kitting Works and Sales orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensuring materials are issued only where appropriate materials stores requisitions have been provided
  • Ensuring weekly Cycle counting checks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assisting Stock Taking
  • Safety and Security within the stores location
  • Fork lift truck operations
  • Co-operation with colleagues to support the business needs

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Accurate in their work
  • Able to work in a timely manner
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to make decisions
  • Physically Fit
  • Aware of Health and Safety procedures
  • Good communication and co-operation skills
  • Forklift license
Full time role, day shift hours working Monday to Friday
