The requirement: In early 2011, Kitchen Garden Foods asked First Base Employment to assist them by finding an Administration Assistant to join their growing team. Kitchen Garden Foods were keen to find someone not only with the necessary skills but also the drive and enthusiasm to match their team and the ambition to suit their growing brand.
What we did: First Base Employment met with the Directors of Kitchen Garden Foods at their Stroud factory in order to fully understand the job role, the team and their business. We then used this information to tailor our recruitment process to match the requirements of our clients. We approached suitable candidates already registered on the extensive First Base database, as well as launching a recruitment campaign including online advertising, designed with Kitchen Garden Foods brief in mind at all times. Having attracted a number of candidates that appeared to match the requirements, we then undertook face to face interviews in order to check suitability before putting only the best matched in front of Kitchen Garden Foods.
The result: Having successfully recruited for this position, we have built a strong recruitment partnership with Kitchen Garden Foods and have since worked on and filled further vacancies. Kitchen Garden Foods know that they can rely on First Base to provide the right people, whatever their needs and as such we are now their only point of call for all their recruitment needs as their business continues to grow and win awards.
